Bring out the Cheese

Would you like cheese on that?  How about some Richard Cheese.  No, it’s not some new age cheese, it’s Richard Cheese (aka Dick), the lounge singer.  Richard takes lounge music to a whole new level, and a quite humorous one at that.  Dick produces and performs lounge style Vegas versions of today’s most popular songs, and has been doing so ever since the year 2000.  Backed by his Lounge Against the Machine band, these crooners set out on their own unique path to grab the attention of everyone who enjoys a good time.  These guys have been busy providing entertainment for fans worldwide.  There are plenty of songs to keep us entertained, and a seventh CD will be released in July.  Dick and the band offer up their own variety of lounge style songs from artists like Disturbed, Slayer, Snoop Dogg, System of a Down, Slipknot, the Beastie Boys, Nine Inch Nails, and so many more.  Crazy, yes, but highly entertaining.

Make way for The Beeps

Most people who know me have absolutely no idea that I enjoy listening to lounge music.  I’m actually quite a fan of large variety of lounge tunes.  I find it amazing how popular this style of music is and it’s ability to stay on top of things.

Every so often I’ll mention a few lounge music performers who spark an interest for me.  I’ll start off with a group from New York City called The Beeps.  They offer their own unique style of psychedelic lounge music.  While listening to The Beeps you can suddenly transform yourself into a James Bond movie.  They have a knack for blending the perfect elements of groovy pop together.  You’ll find yourself lost in a dark and smokey filled world of bliss while listening to some of their tunes.
