Morrissey’s shows at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles are underway, but not without a slight interruption. Apparently tonight’s show, and the show on Thursday October 4th are canceled due to some water pipe burst at the venue. If you have tickets to the shows that were canceled, it looks like you’ll be able to use them for either the October 8th or October 9th dates, or you may get a refund if you are unable to attend the show on those dates. A new album from Morrissey can be expected some time in 2008.
New Radiohead album details…

..or maybe not. There’s a countdown to some Radiohead details that has created a buzz in cyberspace. A representative for the band has said the website has nothing to do with the band and that the site is a hoax. I’ll leave it up to you to decide weather the website is legit or not. As far as I know the new album will be out in early 2008. Regardless, it’ll be interesting to see what shows up on the site when the countdown is complete.

A college credit for YouTube studies? Pitzer College is offering just that. I knew it wouldn’t be long before something like this would surface. I’m not at all convinced the class would actually teach something useful though. Useful you ask? Yes, the benefits of using a resource like YouTube are amazing, if you actually understand it’s mass appeal from a media marketing point of view. I wonder how many times the name Britney will be thrown about the class. Uggh..
